What warrant does this device come with?

All Lightwave devices come with a 2 year warranty. This can be extended to lifetime if you take out the Lightwave plus membership.

Does this require a hub?

Whilst your products will work as conventional switches and sockets without the hub, the hub is required for smart control, voice control and app control. Additionally, any timers and automations rely on the hub. Even if the internet connection drops in your property, the timers and automations will continue to function as long as the link hub remains connected and powered.

What is the range?

Lightwave devices use a low radio frequency band which enables them to achieve best-in-market range performance, this significantly outperforms widely used protocols such as Zigbee, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. In an open field setting, we have completed successful tests of up to 1km. In a typical household environment, this translates to approximately 100m of range. To optimise the range of the LightwaveRF devices, we recommend installing the hub in a high and central location within your property. It’s worth mentioning that elements like expansive water bodies. metallic surfaces, and specific materials can occasionally affect the device’s range.
